Bangkok--9 Aug--Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide Volvo continues to shine the spotlight on Thai golfers competing in the international arena with the “Volvo Masters Amateur 2007,” a screening platform that gives talented local players an opportunity to achieve global recognition by teeing off with over 70 of the world's top amateur golfers in the prestigious “Volvo Masters Amateur World Final 2007" in Spain Mr. Paul Stokes, President, Volvo Car (Thailand) Ltd., said, “Volvo Car Thailand is pleased to show our support for amateur and professional golfers through events such as these. The final round will take place on September 17, at the Thai Country Club in Chachongsao. The “Volvo Masters Amateur World Final 2007” is scheduled for October 31 — November 5, at the Westin La Quinta Golf & Country Club in Marbella, Spain. The top three scorers from each flight among Thai Volvo customer entrants in the “Volvo Masters Amateur 2007,” will be invited to compete in the “Volvo Masters Amateur World Final 2007” and join the prestigious witness “Volvo Masters in Valderrama 2007” international tournament in Spain. For non-Volvo customer applicants, the top scorer from each flight of the “Volvo Masters Amateur 2007” will be invited to compete on par with professional golfers in the Pro-Am tournament in “Volvo Masters of Asia 2007”, set for December 5, at the Thai Country Club. “2007 marks Volvo’s 80th year of providing consumers with some of the world's most quality exciting and safest luxury cars.
