Bangkok--10 Aug--Banpu Regarding Force Majeure declaration of Jorong Barutama Greston (JBG), a Banpu Group company in Indonesia, on July 21, 2007, please be informed that JBG has lifted Force Majeure declaration since August 7, 2007. The Jorong mine is now resuming production of around 40 percent of plan (4,000 tonnes a day), but the report from the mine anticipates production improvement steadily day by day. “As of today JBG have stock around 44,000 tonnes, so we herewith lift the Force Majeure declaration on the mine as of August 7, 2007 at 17.00 hrs. Yesterday was a holiday in Jakarta, so notice to some is delayed,” Mr. Phillip Gasteen, Banpu’s Head of Marketing and Logistics reported in the lifting statement to its client. “As the affects of the Force Majeure event continues, we shall keep you appraised of conditions and developments, and any impacts on forwards scheduling,” said Mr. Gasteen.
