Bangkok--17 Aug--Thai AirAsia Much fanfare attended the opening of Thai AirAsia’s Bangkok-Nakhon Si Thammarat route, with celebrations attended by Thai AirAsia CEO Tassapon Bijleveld, Miss Thailand World 2007 Kanokkorn Jaichuen, and Miss Thailand World 2007 runners-up. They flew on the route’s inaugural flight and promoted Nakhon Si Thammarat as a premier tourist destination. They also planted trees in honor of HM King Bhumibol Adulyadej at the Pak Panang River Basin Development Project and visited the famous centuries-old Mahathat Temple to view popular Jatukham Buddhist amulets.
