You now can expect more than that at Thara Thong restaurant, Royal Orchid Sheraton Hotel & Towers, the new creation of Thai Cuisine’s menu as “Seafood…By the River” is being presented from 1 September to 31 October 2007. At Thara Thong, Chef Charoensri Vatanayut who has many years of experience in Thai cooking using Royal’s recipes, applies her unique culinary skills to create special Thai seafood dishes with fresh ingredients from the sea and Thai herbs. Special recommendations of hers include: Pad Kiew Wan Thalay (fried assorted seafood topped with green curry sauce), Yum Song Rod (fried fillet of snapper and boiled shrimps topped with wing beans and banana blossom Salad), Chu Chee Poo Sorn Roop (steamed crabmeat wrapped with white lettuce in red curry), Thalay Thord Prick Thai Dum (deep-fried assorted seafood with garlic and black pepper sauce), Goong Norn Hae (steamed prawns wrapped with minced shrimp and pork in egg net) This special promotion is available daily for lunch from noon to 2:30 p.m. and dinner from 6:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. The venue offers comfortable floor-seating, either at low tables in an air-conditioned teak pavillion or patio dining outside, both with mesmerizing views of the Chao Phraya River.
