Bangkok--5 Sep--EXIM Thailand EXIM Thailand appointed Senior Vice President of Information Technology Department and Acting First Vice President of Office of Risk Management, supervising the Bank’s IT and risk management systems in line with the BOT’s guidelines and Basel II framework. Mr. Suthanai Prasertsan assumes Senior Vice Presidentship overseeing the Information Technology Department. Also, he is appointed Acting First Vice President of Office of Risk Management in charge of developing EXIM Thailand’s risk management policies and tools in accordance with the guidelines stipulated by the Bank of Thailand (BOT) and Basel II framework. The appointment became effective on September 1, 2007. Mr. Suthanai earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Thammasat University and a Masters of Science degree from Chulalongkorn University. Holding a Certification of Control Self Assessment (CCSA), he is also a Certified Information System Auditor (CISA) and Certified Internal Auditor (CIA). He has extensive work experience in computer and IT system management at the Bank of Asia Public Company Limited. In 1999, he became Director of PricewaterhouseCoopers Thailand in charge of customer advisory services in the areas of corporate governance, risk management, internal control and audit. His last post before joining EXIM Thailand was Senior Vice President, Internal Audit Department Head, Bank Thai Public Company Limited.
