Bangkok--14 Sep--Hill & Knowlton DHL, the world’s leading express and logistics company, has been named ‘Best Practice Workplace on Labour Relations and Labour Welfare Award, 2007’ (Medium Enterprise with no Federation of Labour Union category). Organized annually by the Department of Labour Protection and Welfare, Ministry of Labour, the award recognized DHL Express’ outstanding contribution to employee relations and welfare during the year 2005-2006 The company’s latest achievement was judged by the general sub-committee consisting of representatives from employer, employee and the government body. The criteria for the awards included a comprehensive set of information on the organization, its employee relations and labour welfare. The awards ceremony was attended by nearly 1,000 guests. At the ceremony, Prime Minister Surayud Chulanont , Chairman of the event, presented each winning organization a certificate of excellence for their remarkable achievements this year.
