Asset Plus launches new FIF Fund ASP-ASIAN, investing in the Asian equity market ex-Japan will open new IPO on October 15, 2007

Bangkok--10 Oct--Asset Plus Asset Plus launch new foreign investment fund named “Asset Plus Asian Special Situations Fund (ASP-ASIAN)”, investing in the Asian equity market ex-Japan through the Fidelity Advisor World—Asian Special Situations Fund. The fund size is 1,700 million baht. ASP-ASIAN will be opened for Initial Public Offering (IPO) during October 15-25, 2007. Ms. Ladawan Chareon-Rajapark, Managing Director of Asset Plus Fund Management Co., Ltd. said that Asset Plus Asian Special Situations Fund (ASP-ASIAN) is the open-ended feeder fund, investing at least 80% of NAV in any accounting period in the unit trust of “Fidelity Advisor World — Asian Special Situations Fund”, which currency base in US dollar and managed by Fidelity Management & Research Company (FMR). The fund seeks long-term growth of capital primarily by investing in special-situation stocks, such as stocks of the companies which are potential M&A (Merger and Acquisition) targets, or smaller growth companies in Asia, excluding Japan. For liquidity management, the fund may invest in short term bank deposit or near cash assets, which is issued by foreign financial institution.
