Marshall will be based in Singapore with region-wide responsibility for all legal matters related to ESPN STAR Sports networks across Asia as well as business development and strategic relationships. Marshall was previously based in Hong Kong with BEA Systems, a publicly-listed software company, where he was the General Counsel of the company’s Asia Pacific operations. Before that, he spent a number of years as Senior Counsel with General Electric’s Information Services business. With more than 10 years of experience working in Asia and experience in handling complex software and services transactions, Marshall brings a wealth of legal expertise and knowledge in areas involving distribution and licensing, technology transfer arrangements, the management of external disputes and compliance and regulatory matters in the Asia-Pacific region. In his current role, Marshall will oversee all matters pertaining to legal and business affairs. He will report directly to Manu Sawhney, Managing Director, ESPN STAR Sports (Ch.39, 65, True Visions).
