Bangkok--29 Oct--SET The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET), in collaboration with Capital Nomura Securities PCL and TISCO Securities Co., Ltd., has opened a finance and investment knowledge center in the Esplanade Shopping Mall in Bangkok. The initiative incorporates innovative learning techniques from SET’s Maruey Knowledge and Resource Center and offers securities companies’ trading services through their mini or cyber branch, which are also located at the shopping mall. This center is another step in providing complete public and investor education, responding to the new generation’s needs to access financial and investment information, SET President Ms. Patareeya Benjapolchai said. “The finance and investment knowledge center combines the features of Maruey Knowledge and Resource Center and securities companies’ service systems, providing information and advice on finance, savings, investment and securities firms through printed materials, e-Learning, the SETSMART system and other educational media. In addition, Capital Nomura Securities PCL and TISCO Securities Co., Ltd. have agreed to open their first cyber branches, a complete online service center, at the same location, to help investors trade stocks,” Ms. Patareeya added. The center is located on the second floor of the Esplanade Shopping Complex, Ratchadapisek Road, Bangkok. It covers 318 square meters and is divided into four areas: library, e-learning and internet, coffee shop and general activities. The center is open daily, from 10:00 - 22:00 hours. The cyber branch covers 112 square meters in space, where the two brokerages provide online services to enable users to trade via the internet, and check real-time trade data - daily from 10:00 — 20:00 hours.
