Organized by the Tourism Authority of Thailand in co-operation with the Department of Veterinarians under the Royal Thai Army, True Corporation Plc, KiriMaya Golf Resort Spa Khao Yai, Thai Airways International and Earth Wind And Fire Co Ltd, the Thailand International Balloon Festival 2007 is scheduled to take place from November 7-11, 2007 at the Army Dog Training Center in Khao Yai district of Nakhon Ratchasima province. Participated by more than 30 countries around the world, including USA, England, Italy, Czech Republic, and so forth, the event is aimed at paying tribute to HM the King on his 80th birthday anniversary. Admission fees are 50 Baht for a 3-day pass and 20 Baht for a single-day pass. Students in uniform will be offered free admission. Proceeds from the event will be donated to Anurak Champee Sirindhorn project, as well as purchase forest-fire fighting equipment for Khao Yai National Park.
