Bangkok--14 Nov--eTurboNews Ala Moana Center captures the magic of the holiday season for local shoppers It may be 80 degrees outside but this year you and your family can still experience a white Christmas at Ala Moana Center. The magic begins November 23, when Ala Moana Center’s popular “The Christmas Gift of Aloha” holiday experience returns, offering shoppers a one-of-a-kind winter wonderland at the state’s largest mall. The popular “The Christmas Gift of Aloha” features the returning stage show and parade, which brings to life Lisa Matsumoto’s children’s storybook of the same name. The 30-minute stage show follows the adventures of Merry, one of Santa’s elves, who falls from the sleigh and gets lost in Hawaii. At the conclusion of every extraordinary performance, a simulated “snowfall” flutters down upon Ala Moana’s Centerstage. Also be sure to stick around following the show as Santa and the entire “The Christmas Gift of Aloha” cast ride through Ala Moana Center in Hawaii’s only holiday mall parade. And of course the holidays wouldn’t be complete without a visit to Santa at Ala Moana Center’s Menehune Toy Shop — which arrives November 10 — with animatronic elves and a real waterfall. Another feature of “The Christmas Gift of Aloha,” the Candy Cane Train, is brought to life as it carries its riders on a holiday journey around the Mall Level. With close to 9,000 parking stalls, simple valet parking, helpful concierges and extended holiday hours, you and your family can celebrate the holidays with an unforgettable day of shopping and entertainment at Ala Moana Center.
