Bangkok--3 Dec--KASIKORNBANK Recently, at KASIKORNBANK Head Office, Dr. Prasarn Trairatvorakul, President of KBank, and Mr. Sasawat Virapriya, Executive Vice President signed on an agreement to sell NPLs of KASIKORNBANK and Phethai Asset Management Co., Ltd., — a Bank subsidiary — with a total value of THB11.8 billion to Standard Bank Asia Limited and Morgan Stanley Emerging Markets Inc. This will bring the Bank’s NPLs down to less than 5 percent of total loans at the end of this year.
