Bangkok--4 Jan--TRIS Rating TRIS Rating Co., Ltd. has withdrawn the “BBB+” ratings it assigned to the senior secured debentures of United Farmer & Industry Co., Ltd. (UFIC). TRIS Rating announced that the withdrawal of the issue ratings of UFIC came at the request of the company because of the early redemption of its debentures with a full repayment. The early redeemed debentures (UFIC08NA and UFIC09OA) were issued in November 2004 with initial maturities due in November 2008 and October 2009, respectively. At the same time, TRIS Rating said that the “BBB+” company rating of UFIC, a sugar producer under the Mitr Phol Group, remains unchanged while the rating outlook is “stable”.
