Bangkok--29 Feb--Baldwin Boyle Group Jet Airways, Asia’s fastest growing premium airline, is breaking ranks with other premium airlines targeting India and international routes by launching today a range of affordable travel packages in association with leading Thailand travel agents. The packages include a series of special promotions ex-Bangkok to India to mark the opening of the Thai International Travel Fair 2008 (TTAAITF) and celebrate India’s fast growing attractiveness as an adventure tourism location. TTAAITF will be held at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Centre in Bangkok from February 28 to March 2. The special promotional package to the Golden Triangle of Delhi, Agra and Jaipur offers six-day four-night packages targeted at free and independent travelers. Highlights of the package include visits to Old Delhi, Gandhi memorial, Taj Mahal, Amber Fort and the Pink City of Jaipur. The total cost of the package per person, including airfares, is Baht 30,000. Jet Airways country manager Lackana Wantaywin says outbound travel from Thailand to India is also expected to grow strongly. She said the airline has worked with Jetair Tours and hotel partners to prepare anumber of attractive package tours targe ted at travelers from the Southeast Asian region. “These packages provide short getaways which can be enjoyed over a long weekend or during a short break. They highlight the many faceted jewels of Incredible India — from the magnificent architecture, to the rich Buddhist heritage, to the breathtaking mountains in the North and the historical spice routes in the South.” Jet Airways will also be giving away a package holiday to India for two, in a lucky draw at TTAAITF. The package holiday prize in the lucky draw will include return airfares from Bangkok to Kolkata, free hotel accommodation and travel andsightseeing.
