Bank of Ayudhya launches Krungsri SMS Banking service

Bangkok--6 Mar--Bank of Ayudhya A free, value-added service for savings and current account holders to enjoy both alert and on-demand features Bank of Ayudhya Public Company Limited (BAY) today launched its Krungsri SMS Banking service, the financial service through mobile phone offering both alert and on-demand features. BAY offers this value-added service to enhance convenience for over 4 million savings and current account holders free of charge. Customers will receive information via Short Message Service (SMS) of mobile service operators. The Bank plans to launch advertisement of Krungsri SMS Banking service under the concept “Know Every Move Your Money Makes” through TV, radio, and print media on March 8, 2008. Mr. Roy Gunara, Head of Consumer Banking, Bank of Ayudhya PCL., said that “Krungsri SMS Banking service is a value-added service developed to fulfill various needs of customers and to suit customers’ way of life in using mobile phones as communication tool in their daily life. Customers will receive more convenience from the service as they are able to inquire financial information, general information of the Bank, acknowledge result of money transfer by Krungsri ATM, and receive financial information through SMS of mobile service operators including AIS, DTAC and TRUE MOVE”. Krungsri SMS Banking provides services covering 10 features including money deposit alert, auto payment debit result alert, Krungsri Visa Electron or Krungsri Visa Debit card usage alert, account no-movement alert, money transfer alert, account balance enquiry, last 3 transactions inquiry, 5 major currencies exchange rate inquiry, deposit interest rate, and loan interest rate. Customers who are interested in Krungsri SMS Banking can register for the service with Krungsri ATM card or Krungsri Visa Electron card or Krungsri Visa Debit card at over 2,600 Krungsri ATMs across the nation for 24 hours or at the Bank’s branches nationwide during working hours.
