Bangkok--12 Mar--Mind Touch F&N Dairies (Thailand) today reveals its new business plan to fully penetrate food and beverage market. It plans to continue to build up satisfaction and reinforce its long lasting and close relationship with the Thai consumers for more than 60 years. The company will invest more than 100 million baht this year to proactively expand BEAR BRAND Sterilized Milk market with the launch of new television commercial entitled "STAR" under "Uncountable Love" concept, together with integrated marketing campaigns. The company projects to achieve over 20% growth of BEAR BRAND Sterilized Milk. Somsak Chayapong, Country Head of F&N Dairies (Thailand) Limited, a leading manufacturer and distributor of food and beverage products, discloses that the company has celebrated its 1st anniversary in Thailand since February 1st this year and during the first year of its business operation, the company has focused its effort on penetrating the liquid milk and chilled products market under the 3 strong brands namely, Bear Brand, Carnation and Milo with the exclusive license from Nestle. In addition, the company has allocated a huge investment budget on its product research & development as well as market studies to understand Thai consumer behaviours, all strong points of its brands as well as market opportunities and distribution channels. The company is, today, to take further steps in its market expansion and retain its forefront leadership in local food and beverage market based on its strong brand foundation and high quality product standard. "This year, we will allocate more than 100 million baht to continue to enhance the close relationship as well as consumers’ satisfaction of BEAR BRAND Sterilized Milk which has been trusted by the Thai consumers for more than 60 years. Under F&N Dairies umbrella, BEAR BRAND Sterilized Milk is expected to achieve 20% growth with the launch of new television commercial campaign entitled "STAR" under “Uncountable Love” concept, which will be the first advertising campaign launched by F&N and its first TVC in 2008”, said Somsak. He added that "The new TV Commercial “STAR” under the concept of "Uncountable Love" highlights the “Emotional” story line featuring love, warm, and care in the family through father, mother, and daughter relationship. In the TV commercial, the daughter, one night, asked her father how much he loves her mother and her. The father then told his daughter to count the stars in the sky which represent his love for her and her mother. The love tune sung by famous singer Paiboonkiat Kheawkaew is used to enhance the impact of this 45-second and 30-second TV commercial to be on air from March 12th onwards,” In addition to the launch of its new TVC campaign, the company plans to utilize other communication media, marketing activities as well as supporting plan to directly reach the target consumers of BEAR BRAND Sterilized Milk e.g. cinema advertisement, advertisement at BTS stations, point-of-purchase materials and comprehensive sales promotion activities, etc. BEAR BRAND Sterilized Milk is now the market leader in sterilized milk segment with highest market share of 98 per cent.
