Bangkok--17 Mar-- An agreement by the TPOC National Association and THETRADESHOW to support each other with event promotion and meeting participation has been reached. An opportunity for each organization to market their conferences and trade shows to the two memberships will help increase exposure and attendance. THETRADESHOW brings the entire industry together under one roof. The event involves the travel trade, representing all types of professional buyers including wholesalers, tour operators and travel agents, as well as industry suppliers.The TRADESHOW will take place in Orlando, Florida on September 7 — 9, 2008. The focus of the TPOC Conference and Trade Show is training plus promoting multicultural and heritage tourism and brings together travel professionals and suppliers who are interested in reaching the minority travel market. The TPOC annual conference and trade show will open in New Orleans with breakfast, followed by a trade show at the New Orleans Marriott Hotel on April 28, 2008. Immediately following the trade show, delegates will continue the conference at sea during a five day cruise on a carnival cruise line ship. Some of the many ways each group will support the others event is by email campaigns, web site links, and membership attendance at the shows.
