For the new generation SL 350 the Mercedes engineers have developed a V6 power plant that brings the sporty qualities of the new SL generation to the fore. Engine output has been boosted by 16 per cent to 232kW/315 hp at 6,500 rpm, while the peak torque has been increased by 10 Nm and now stands at 360 Nm. The power plant accelerates the new generation SL 350 from 0 to 100 Km/h in a mere 6.2 seconds, making it 0.4 seconds faster than the outgoing SL 350. For the priced of SL 350 is 11.79 million baht. The new generation SLK blazes a trail of sporty new highlights and the designers have honed the looks of the cult two seater for added sportiness. Eye catching features include a new look front bumper and a more pronounced V-shape, while the area around the Mercedes star now stands out more boldly. The four cylinders engine produces an extra 15 kW/21 of output (135kW/184hp) thanks to the use of a modified engine management system, a more dynamic and enhanced pistons. The maximum torque has been increased from the previous 240 to 250 Nm between 2,800 and 5,000 rpm. This propels the SLK 200 KOMPRESSOR from 0-100km/h in 7.9 sec. and on to a top speed of 232 km/h.
