Bangkok--2 Apr--Chevron Tara Tiradnakorn (3rd right), President of Chevron Thailand Exploration and Production, Ltd., together withLawan Kuncati (2nd left), Chairman of JSL Company Limited presented a donation check of 60,521,785 baht,a total fund raised through Chevron for DLF campaign, to Khwankeo Vajarodaya, Grand Chamberlain and Chairman of the Distance Learning Foundation. The “Chevron for Distance Learning Foundation” campaign was launched last year to celebrate the auspicious occasion of His Majesty the King’s 80th Birthday Anniversary. Chevron invited all Thais to join in the fund raising activities. The total fund is granted to support the Distance Learning Foundation in providing educational opportunity to the students in 750 schools in the remote area all over Thailand. With equipped satellites, the students will have an opportunity to access ‘standard education’ via live teachings broadcast from Wang Klaikangwon school, HM the King’s Private School.
