Costing no more than regular export insurance, this new package offers 8 additional services to exporters applying for trade finance together with export insurance services. The campaign will run until September 30, 2008. The 8 extra insurance coverage items are: 1) Free domestic logistics insurance for both buyers and sellers, 2) Insurance for returned goods, 3) Insurance for damage caused by improper packaging, 4) Extension of insurance coverage by another 30 days at warehouses other than those operated by the Port Authority of Thailand, 5) Extension of claiming period by another 60 days from the date of goods arrival at the destination, 6) Increased coverage for damage of unidentified cause up to 15,000 baht, 7) No claims against the beneficiary or its subsidiary after being compensated, and 8) Prompt compensation for amounts less than 10,000 baht.
