Bangkok--9 Apr--RATCH Ratchaburi Electricity Generating Holding PCL. (Stock Symbol as “RATCH”) announced the dividend payment for the operating year of 2007 at 2.10 baht per share and appointed five new directors, in place of those retired by rotation and those resigned, according to the resolution of the Shareholder’s Annual General Meeting Year 2007 held on April 4, 2008. Mr. Narong Sitasuwan, Managing Director of Ratchaburi Electricity Generating Holding PCL. revealed that the Shareholder’s Annual General Meeting Year 2007 held on April 4, 2008 resolved theapproval of the dividend payment of the year 2007 at 2.10 baht pershare or 3,045 million baht in total. Due to the interim dividend of 1 baht per share was made on September 17, 2007, the remaining yearend dividend of 1.10 baht per share will be made on April 30, 2008, thereafter; the closing date of the share registration book for the right to receive the Company’s dividend will be on April 18, 2008 at 12.00 a.m. onwards. In addition, the resolution of Shareholder’s Annual General Meeting Year 2007 approved the election of five new directors namely Mr.Nathi Premrasmi as Independent Director, Mr.Sathit Limphongpan as Independent Director, Mr.Apichart Dilogsopon as Director, Mr.Payap Pongpirodom as Director (in place of Mr.Kraisi Karnasuta who resigned), and Mr. Ratanapong Jongdamgerng as Director (in place of Miss Sutharat Angchanpen who resigned). The term of the director who was elected in place of those resigned would be as same as the remaining term entitled to retain by those whom was elected in place. Moreover, the Meeting resolved the appointment approval for both Mr. Lae Dilokvidhyarat and Mr. Chanin Vongkusolkit to be reelected as Director. Directors and Independent Directors who were appointed are widely accepted as human resources in energy sector, public sector and macro economy.
