Carrefour Announces Power and Energy Saving Plan To Reduce ‘Global Warming’

Bangkok--16 Apr--Maxima Consultants After teamed with WWF and the City of Bangkok for turning off the lights for an hour on 60 Earth Hour Campaign, Carrefour, a premium hyper-market that care deeply about climate change, recently demonstrated further actions on power and energy savings. The 28 branches Carrefour nationwide took further steps including switching off lights in every store during purposed period, partly turning off non-essential lights, changing electric appliance into energy saving fluorescent from now until the end of this year. By doing this, the company will be able to reduce approx 10,730,000 kilogram of CO2 emissions and electricity consumption by about 10,016,180 units per year.
