Bangkok--22 Apr--Hill & Knowlton Delphi partners with TAC to bring more than 100 years of OE heritage to Thai Automotive Aftermarket Delphi Product & Service Solutions (DPSS), a division of Delphi Automotive Systems LLC that markets and distributes Delphi’s OE quality products, is bringing its more than 100 years of OE experience to support automotive aftermarket growth in Thailand. The Four Seasons Hotel of Bangkok, DPSS invited customers and retailers to witness the official Thailand launch event. During the ceremony, attended by U.S. Ambassador to Thailand, the Honorable Eric John, DPSS announced that it appoints TAC to be the first authorized distributor for DPSS in Thailand. As Delphi’s agent, TAC will help establish the Delphi brand in this important market. “As Southeast Asia’s second-biggest economy, Thailand represents a very exciting opportunity for Delphi,” said Francisco A. (Frank) Ordo?ez, President, Delphi Product & Service Solutions. “We are confident that we will be able to gain shares of the growing automotive aftermarket segment in this country — a market that is demanding high quality parts.”In partnership with TAC, DPSS will distribute Delphi branded parts to car owners through a network of more than 2,000 dealers and workshops in Thailand. At the initial stages of its local operations, TAC will market and distribute Delphi branded vehicle electronics (ignition cables, sensors, ignition coils, fuel pumps), consumer electronics (car audio, portable navigation, overhead DVD players), thermal products (HVAC components such as compressors, condensers, evaporators, radiators) and chassis products (brake pads, caliper kits). Currently, TAC is in the process of appointing selected authorized Delphi dealers in Bangkok, and will soon expand to other major towns in Thailand.
