Bangkok--23 Apr--Bangkok Bank Bangkok Bank Executive Vice President Piya Sosothikul (left) and the bank’s executives recently arranged for Business Successors from the eastern province of Chon Buri to meet their peers in the southern provinces of Phuket, Krabi, and Phang Nga. With both regions sharing similar industries such as yachting, hotels, real estate for foreigners, and retail, the objective of the trip was to help develop relationships, networks, and share knowledge. Bangkok Bank initiated the Business Successors program in 2005 to help the new generation of business heirs develop business relationships and networks in their local areas which they often lack as a result of being sent to school elsewhere from a young age. The program has been successful with more than 2,000 business successors joining within the last three years.
