Bangkok--6 May--Fitch Ratings Fitch Ratings today foreshadows a report to be released later this month that reviews and analyses the history of international long-term ratings assigned to Asia Pacific Structured Finance (APSF) transactions rated by Fitch since 1997. The APSF ratings transition study will show the performance of structured finance ratings as measured by rating changes over the 10 years to 31 December 2007 for all regions within Asia Pacific, including Australia, Japan, Korea, and Singapore, and for each distinct asset class. This will be the first time Fitch has issued such a study specifically for the region and the agency aims to produce updated reports on a regular basis in future. The study will provide details on rating activity in the region over the period 1997 to 2007 by geography and product, as well as a brief summary of rating actions so far in 2008 and the agency's outlook in key areas for the remainder of the year.
