IT CITY reported its 2008 first quarter revenue of 1,431 over million Baht

Bangkok--8 May--Core & Peak Mr. Kamol Juntima, Chairman of the Board, IT CITY Public Company Limited reported the year 2008’s first quarter company’s performance that the company’s total revenue was 1,431.50 million Baht with the growth of 11.68% and the net profit of 40.41 million Baht with the growth of 36.45% comparing to the same period of the year 2007. The key reasons for the continuous growth of IT CITY are: 1. The consumer IT market is growing continuously and IT CITY has got well accepted from the customers either home users or SMEs 2. Since IT CITY has continuously expanded its new branches, the increasing revenue will come from both new and existing branches. 3. IT CITY has now become the Thailand largest and abreast of the time one stop shopping IT center. 4. IT CITY has got more direct support from both domestic and foreign suppliers. 5. IT CITY is focusing in retail business; the area that IT CITY is specialist, which will make IT CITY gain the competitive edge in term of Economy of Scale 6. IT products are the products that are used to increase the efficiency for both business and learning, therefore, it is resultant to the continuous increase in purchasing power. In the first quarter of this year, the company had expanded 1 new branch at Pin Khao area, Bangkok which made the company had total 32 branches. In the year 2008, the company will continue to expand the new branches as well as new products to serve the home and individual customers and will control our expenditure appropriately to the economic situation and the company’s revenue capability.
