Bangkok--23 May--Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide Volvos team Polestar gave a direct reply under the third race of STCC at Mantorp Park. Tommy Rustad and his “Volvo C30 E85” took second place and Robert Dahlgren, who started from 16:th place, crossed the finish line in fourth place and with the fastest lap of the day. During qualifying it started to rain and the Mantorp track became slippery. In spite of that Tommy Rustad managed to secure second place on the grid while Robert Dahlgren crossed over the edge of the track, damaged his car and had to settle for a 16:th place on the grid. After these initial disappointments, the weekend ended up being a big success. Rustad finished second and Dahlgren overtook car after car to cross the finish line in fourth place. The team did a complete four wheel tyre change in 20 seconds on each car. Rustad managed both weather and competitors to finish comfortably in second place. "Amazing, I know how hard everyone has worked to get this result. I am very happy to work with a super team and drive this fantastic bioethanol-powered Volvo C30 E85," said a happy Tommy Rustad. The luxurious sports coupe “Volvo C30” offers a diverse range of efficient engines. One that can offer a performance as dynamic as others is the Flexifuel E85 that can use various ranges of fuels, from regular benzene to gasohol E85.
