Bangkok--6 Aug--Oasis Media Focusing on building standard theme to stimulate the market in 2H08 Home Builder Association partners with over 50 other participating home building companies, construction material manufacturers as well as leading financial institutions to stage the Home Builder 2008 during this coming August 20-24, 2008 at QSNCC to stimulate the market in 2H08. In its attempt to build market confidence and to upgrade home building standard, all home building companies participated in this year event will only come from the Association’s members. The event, which is co-locating with Home Buyer Expo 2008, will contain many special activities and is expected to generate a target sale of Baht 1.5 BN. Mr. Panthep Thanchitikul, President of the Home Builder Association, discloses today that the Association is staging the Home Building 2008 under the “Keep In Balance” concept focusing on building standard, designs, prices, construction time and its environments during this coming August 20-24, 2008 at QSNCC to stimulate the market in 2H08. This year event will be more special than the last as all participating home building companies will only come from the Association’s members in order to create market confidence that the consumers will only receive quality homes with high building standard. There will approximately be 50 participating companies from the home building industries, construction material manufacturers, leading financial institutions as well as the media. The Association expects that this annual event will receive much interest from its targets as it is considered as one of the most complete events in the industry with the most appealing offers so far. “This year we specifically select participating home building companies from our members only. This confirms the Association’s policy announced earlier that we will upgrade home building industry standard in order to gain market confidence. Hence, having only our member at our event is a kind of guarantee that all participating companies possess good service standard, transparency and accountability sufficient to gain consumer confidence and trust.” Mr. Panthep said. He further added that the Association planed to spend a PR and advertising budget of approximately 8 MB covering all kinds of media, i.e. TV, radio, newspaper, magazines, billboards and etc. for this event and hoped that it would attract from its targets a total of 80,000 visitors. In order to make it even more appealing, the Association would organize special promotion by offering a chance for those who reserve on-site to win a grand Sculpture of Fertility, a gold prize weighted 20 Baht as well as 10 other gold prizes weighted 1 Baht. Besides having more than 50 participating companies with each and every company planning to launch more than 100 latest housing models, which have never been showcased elsewhere, there will be many other special activities at the Home Builder 2008 for its visitors, e.g. there will be free giveaway the blue print of house (minimum photocopy cost applies), which could promptly be used to apply for a permit and construct, Home Tour to educate visiting students to understand home building business, Consulting Corner to give consultation services to those who wish to build their homes, Book Corner featuring New Home Design Volume 2, which is a complete collection of the Association’s members’ new housing models, to be sold at a special price of Baht 199 only, as well as other useful home building seminars.
