Bangkok--11 Jun--Total Quality PR To provide a golden opportunity for the new-born star to gracefully enter the fashion industry, Siam Center - Center of Fun & Fashion — together with Siam Winery - the producer of Spy Wine Cooler and Spy Cocktail — is holding “Siam Center Design Forward: INSPY U Fashion Contest 2008” in search for the outstanding young-blood Thai designers who possess the creativity as well as inspiration and best present their design to raise an awareness of the global warming crisis. The winners will receive the award of 100,000 baht in total and honorary plaques. Contestants should submit their design within July 15, 2008. “Siam Center Design Forward: INSPY U Fashion Contest 2008” project is aimed to be the high-standard stage of fashion design equivalent to an international level. It encourages the university students in fashion design from all over the country to submit their work under the title of “Cocktail Color Mix”, including 4 sketches on A3 paper and the detail of their concept. The contestants can enter the competition as an individual or a team of two and submit their entries within July 15, 2008, at the information counter on the 1st floor of Siam Center or by mailing to Supremo Co., Ltd., 989 Siam Tower, Rama 1 Rd., Pathumwan, Bangkok 10330. The final 10 will participate in the workshop closely instructed by fashion gurus in order to improve their skills in fashion design under the concept of “artistic use of colour in fashion design” and enhance the hand-on experience. Their finished work will be displayed in the final round on September 19, 2008. The judge panel consists of Kusuma Chaiyaporn — Editor in Chief of Bazaar, Sirichai Daharanont — the owner and designer of Theatre, Chamnan Pakdeesuk — veteran designer of Flynow and fashion columnist and Ploy — Cherman Boonyasak — Ambassador of Siam Winery.
