Bangkok--18 Jun--Hill & Knowlton Hewlett-Packard (Thailand) Ltd. has recently set up an internal activity called “HP protects the world”, on the occasion of the World Environment Day on 5th June. This activity’s objective was to make its employees realize the seriousness of environmental issues such as global warming and earnestly protect Mother Nature. On that day, HP provided Peace Lily seedlings, which has been proven to be one of the houseplants that can improve air quality, for the employees to plant at home. After three months, a contest will be held to award the employee who grows the most beautiful Peace Lily. The activity drew great interest from HP’s staff. It is also relevant to the Global Citizenship concept which demonstrates HP’s social responsibility as a citizen of the world.
