Bangkok--7 Aug--Core & Peak Mr. Kamol Juntima, Chairman of the Board, IT CITY Public Company Limited reported the year 2008’s first half company’s performance that the company’s total revenue was 2,905.51 million Baht with the growth of 8.69% and the net profit of 86.83 million Baht with the growth of 31.75% comparing to the same period of the year 2007. As for the second quarter of the year 2008, the company shown the total revenue of 1,474.40 million Baht with the growth of 5.96% and the net profit of 46.42 million Baht with the growth of 27.91% comparing to the same period of the year 2007. The key reasons for the continuous growth of IT CITY are: 1. The consumer IT market is growing continuously and IT CITY has got well accepted from the customers either home users or SMEs 2. Since IT CITY has continuously expanded its new branches, the increasing revenue will come from both new and existing branches. 3. IT CITY has now become the Thailand largest and abreast of the time one stop shopping IT center. 4. IT CITY has got more direct support from both domestic and foreign suppliers. 5. IT CITY is focusing in retail business; the area that IT CITY is specialist, which will make IT CITY gain the competitive edge in term of Economy of Scale 6. IT products are the products that are used to increase the efficiency for both business and learning, therefore, it is resultant to the continuous increase in purchasing power. In the first half of this year, the company had expanded 2 new branches at Pin Khao area, Bangkok and Phitsanulok province, which made the company had total 33 branches.
