Bangkok--19 Aug--RATCH Ratchaburi Electricity Generating Holding PCL. announced the approval of the Board of Directors of the Company to pay the interim dividend 2008 at 1.10 Baht per share on September 12, 2008 with the closing date of shareholders register book on September 2, 2008. RATCH announced the resolution of the Board of Directors of the Company to pay the interim dividend generated from the first half of operating results of year 2008, to the Company’s shareholders of the total 1,450,000,000 shares at 1.10 Baht per share, which is accounted to be 1,595,000,000 Baht in total. The interim dividend 2008 will be paid to shareholders on September 12, 2008 respectively. From the Board of Directors of the Company meeting held on August 18, 2008, the closing date of shareholders register book for the right to receive the interim dividend 2008 is scheduled to be on September 2, 2008 at 12.00 a.m. The interim dividend 2008 is paid from the net income that derived from the corporate tax exemption; therefore, the shareholders shall not be entitled to a tax credit on this dividend.
