Bangkok Bank introduces Gain 1st 200 Bancassurance

Bangkok--25 Aug--BBL Bangkok Bank and Bangkok Life Assurance have introduced Gain 1st 200, a new life insurance product for customers who want a life insurance and savings plan over a 10 year term. Bangkok Bank Executive Vice President Chartchai Srirussamee said the bank and Bangkok Life Assurance are pleased to be able to introduce Gain 1st 200, the latest life insurance product with savings features that offers a return of 200 percent of the sum insured at the end of the term. With Gain 1st 200 customers only have to pay insurance premiums for five consecutive years but receive life insurance protection for 10 years. During the fifth and ninth years the policy pays a cash return of 5 percent of the sum insured which at the end of the term will be a total cash return of 25 percent of the sum insured. At the end of the final year, the policy will pay another 175 percent of the sum insured, with the total return 200 percent of the sum insured. “With the benefits of long-term savings, tax benefit, and life insurance protection Gain1st 200 provides customers with Financial Security. The insurance premiums paid are tax deductible for up to Baht 100,000 per year, while the life insurance protection continues to increase from 100% of the sum insured in the first two years to 150 percent in the third and fourth years, and 180 percent from the fifth year onwards until the final year,” said Mr. Chartchai. He went on to say that Gain 1st 200 is available to anyone from a new-born baby to someone 65 years old. The minimum sum customers can be insured for is Baht 100,000, and the yearly insurance premium is a flat rate of Baht 330 for every Baht 1,000 of the sum insured. A medical check-up is not required, but Bangkok Life Assurance may request some customers to submit medical records along with their application. Insured persons who die or become totally and permanently disabled from illness or in accident (except suicide) before the age of 60 will be exempt from the annual insurance payment but remain insured with the right to receive the annual cash return and life insurance protection. “Bancassurance is becoming more popular with customers as they start to realize that it is a great way for customers to build financial stability for themselves and their families.
