Bangkok--2 Sep--BBL Bangkok Bank Chairman, Shin Sophonpanich Foundation Director Chatri Sophonpanich, and Shin Sophonpanich Foundation Executive Director Khunying Chodchoi Sophonpanich recently presented scholarships worth a total of Baht 10.3 million to 383 students with a good academic performance in need of financial assistance. The foundation gave 78 scholarships to tertiary students, 214 to medical and nursing students, and 91 to students at Chinese-language elementary schools in Bangkok. Since 1978, the Shin Sophonpanich Foundation has provided more than 10,000 scholarships to help Thai young people with their education.
