Bangkok--29 Sep--DC Consultants and Marketing Communications Tata Motors (Thailand) is collaborating with Looktung, the energy drink brand, in a series of country music (look tung) concerts under the title, ‘Por Piang Tua Thai’ (Sufficiency Throughout Thailand). The concerts will be touring the provinces until December in a bid to reach out to the company’s target customers. The mobile concert stage will be mounted on Tata Xenon pickups as proof of their strength and durability, and a draw with the Xenon as the star prize has been introduced. “Tata Xenon was designed with the focus on sufficiency, energy saving and value,” said Sompong Pholchitcharoon, Marketing Manager, Tata Motors (Thailand) Co Ltd. “The tour will help strengthen its market position in the face of continually fluctuating fuel prices. “Diesel engines remain the cost-effective choice for commercial purposes because of their stamina, lower maintenance costs, and economic use of fuel -- and these are the most distinctive characteristics of the Xenon.” The Por Piang Tua Thai concerts are sponsored by Tata Motors with partners including Looktung energy drink, True Move and Pigeon canned products. Managing the project is Thailand’s leading country music company, R Siam. The first show was in Ubon Ratchathani with guest artists Jintara Poonlarp and the twins O and A. After this, many famous look tung singers will come to take part in the concerts, notably Kratae and Ying-Thitikarn.
