Bangkok--10 Oct--Predia Communication Mrs. Wilawan Atichat, (4th from left), a director of the Gem and Jewelry Institute of Thailand (GIT), was preside over a selection for the top 12 design masterworks in design competition of “GIT Gem and Jewelry Design Award 2008” under the theme ‘La Dolce Vita’, at the GIT Institute of Thailand (Public Organization). The members of competition jury who joining the event were (from left to right) M.L. Kathathong Thongyai, Director of Product Development Center, Department of Export Promotion, Mr Suriyon Sriorathaikul from Beauty Gems Co.,Ltd., Mr Boonkit Jitngamplung from Benson Jewelry Co.,Ltd., Ms Suwaluck Mahuntakhun, Senior Chairman of jewelry designing assembly from Bee Bijoux Co.,Ltd. and Ms Masa Malakul Na Ayudhaya, including with the media representatives to witness this selection. Design works of all finalists will be used in making real work pieces and displayed in the ‘GIT Gem and Jewelry Design Award 2008’ at Atrium 1 and 2 Central World Plaza Department Store, during 17-23 November 2008. In the event, there is a fashion show for presentation by Thai super models and announcement for delivery the prizes to the winners on 22 November 2008. The 3 winners and the ones who receive Popular Vote prize will be rewarded with cash and trophy along with a GJBD course and a JewelCAD course, amounting in total Bht 270,000.
