The Body Shop held “New Brand Celebration” To celebrate the brand success over 32 years Under a new brand image “Nature’s Way to Beautiful
13 October 2008 — The Body Shop celebrates, around the world, the brand success over 32 years under a new brand image emphasizing its principal cosmetic brand in natural minerals and ingredients against animal testing, as well as value behind every product friendly to the society and environment always.
Anita Roddick has established The Body Shop over 32 years strictly based on the business philosophy of social and environmental responsibility because she do believe that business holds power for better changes in this world. This concept engenders The Body Shop, a cosmetic company most friendly to the community and environment. Such concept has been sustained up to now and we are so proud to celebrate this different business philosophy and the definition coupled with The Body Shop, “Nature’s Way to Beautiful”.
This celebration of brand image is derived from The Body Shop’s strong belief that there is a single means to the genuine beauty; it is the Nature’s Way to Beautiful. We have firmly sustained the creation of products on the natural way for several decades under a belief that the natural power engenders the perfect beauty under ingredients and cultures of beauty care from every corner in the world; meanwhile, we have never ignored the protection of the world, animals and humans living on the earth. Our conduct is not encouraged by any global trend, but done by our belief that it is a single way to the real and sustainable beauty.
To celebrate our brand success with this new definition, we launch 2 groups of new products full of wonderful natural ingredients:
1) Wellbeing — Beauty-care products tailored to balance your daily life. These products contain natural ingredients for the balance of both mind and body. These products may be classified into 4 sectors to serve different desires: Total Energy, Quiet Night, Gentle Purify and Diving Calm. Each and every product is enriched by natural ingredients carefully selected from every corner of the world, e.g. Guarana, Wasabi, Lavender, Chamomile, Eucalyptus, and Jujube date. These products are under the community trade as well.
2) Nature’s MineralsTM Make-up — The natural make-up produced from the natural value suitable the delicate and allergic skin. Either foundation products or colorful products for your cheeks and eyelids are free of perfume and preservatives. Every color range is finely created to acquire the natural precious and perfect beauty.
A highlight of this celebration is on the fashion show by many models and super stars, including Bee-Namthip, Ae-Sasikarn, Pei-Parnvard, Goy-Ratchawin, Emmy-Morakot and Am-Suthikarn as well as male models in special-designed cloths mirroring the natural beauty as designed by the designer, “Pak Kard”, who presented her work in Elle Fashion Week this year.
Other activities will be also presented from 12 to 16 October; for example, advice on make-up secrets by several popular make-up artists, e.g. Khun Gui-Vanich Dejtaradol and Khun Un-Sorawut Chatkul Na Ayudhya in a new make-up collection, Nature’s Minerals Make-up. The Wellbeing products will be also demonstrated for the daily tension relief to be done at home.
