Mr. Tinnawat Mahatharadol, Head of Treasury of Bank of Ayudhya PCL, said the coupon rate of the Bank’s 3-year Debentures No. 3/2551 Due B.E. 2554 in the total amount of THB 10 billion, which will be offered to both institutional and retail investors, had been set at 5.10% per annum.
Coupon payment will be made quarterly. BAY Debentures will be available for subscription on November 19 — December 1, 2008 (except Saturday and Sunday) at Bank of Ayudhya’s branches.
“We will use the proceeds from the issuance for our banking business opertation. This issuance will also provide an alternative investment opportunity with attractive rate of return to retail investors. In the case of over-subscription, we may consider to exercise our greenshoe to match with the demand”, said Tinnawat.
Fitch Ratings (Thailand) Limited have assigned a National Long-term rating of ‘AA-’ to the debentures of Bank of Ayudhya PCL.
