The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) has brought in the heavy artillery to combat the global economic crisis, by inviting leading securities analysts and investment experts to join more than 100 seminars at four different venues during SET in the City 2008. Participants will learn techniques and tips to equip them to fight through the current economic crisis. The event will be during November 20-23, from 10:00 — 20:00 hours at Royal Paragon Hall, 5/f, Siam Paragon Shopping Complex, Bangkok.
SET in the City 2008 will feature the Analysts Fair — November 2008 involving more than 100 securities analysts and savings and investment specialists advising on stocks, bonds, derivatives and mutual funds, SET President Patareeya Benjapolchai said.
“In the current economic turmoil, those who want to know the best ways to invest, save or add value to their money, while still making a reasonable return, can take advantage of our expert consultants and avoid costly mistakes,” Ms. Patareeya said.
Analysts Fair — November 2008 will be from 15:00 — 19:30 hours and include three seminars New Global Crisis: Will the Thai economy and stock market survive?, Analysis of fluctuations in big-cap stocks (energy, petrochemical and sea freight) and Thai financial institutions in the global crisis. Participants can also buy the publication, Summary of securities analyses by Securities Analysts Association at the special price of THB 119 and vote for the best analyst of the year, using the form enclosed in the book.
