Allis Ghim (right), Director at eBay, recently introduced the Northern Thailand E-Commerce Summit 2008 along with Piyaphan Rattanakarn (left), a Chiang Mai-based eBay PowerSeller who shared insights on how to trade internationally to over 85 million eBay users worldwide. The Summit will take place in Chiang Mai from 1-10 December 2008, in collaboration with Bangkok Bank, DHL and Shopping.co.th, to provide a complete e-commerce solution for businesses.
“We aim to equip Thai SMEs as well as individuals on how to develop successful online businesses and integrate e-commerce into their current business models. The Northern Thailand E-Commerce Summit 2008 offers free educational seminars and workshops on topics such as the basics of selling online, successful e-commerce strategies and useful business tips from eBay PowerSellers for the public at The Far Eastern University from 6 to 8 December 2008,” explained Allis Ghim, Director at eBay. “For those who are ready to start selling on eBay, there will be hands-on training workshops, and individual consultation sessions conducted by eBay experts from 9 to 10 December 2008,” she added.
