Bangkok Bank Executive Chairman Kosit Panpiemras chaired the ceremony for presenting the royal kathin in 2008 to Wat Palaylai Voraviharn in Suphan Buri province. The ceremony was joined by Managing Director Singh Tangtatswas, Director M.C. Mongkolchaleam Yugala, Senior Executive Vice President Suvarn Thansathit and other executives and staff of the bank. Suphan Buri Deputy Governor Suchet Theeratthanon, public servants, and residents of Suphan Buri also joined the ceremony. This is the 40th year that Bangkok Bank has organized and presented the royal kathin on behalf of His Majesty the King to temples under the royal patronage to support and maintain the Buddhist religion. The annual royal kathin for 2008 organized by Bangkok Bank raised Baht 2,775,160 in contribution from the bank’s executives, staff, customers, and other supporters of the temple.
