SENIOR MANAGEMENT CHANGES FOR NISSAN IN THAILAND

Bangkok--19 Dec--Siam Nissan Automobile Siam Nissan Automobile Co., Ltd. (SNA), today announced that Toru Hasegawa is appointed President of SNA, overlooking ASEAN Four Operations (Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia and Philippines). He replaces Thierry Viadieu who will take a new executive position at the Renault-Nissan Alliance. Commenting on the changes, Colin Dodge, Senior Vice President, General Overseas Markets (GOM), Nissan Motor Co. Ltd and Chairman of the Management Committee-GOM said: “Thailand is one of the most important markets for Nissan and will be the first production base of our new global A-Platform vehicle as well as a regional leader in the Eco-car program. I am confident that Hasegawa will provide the strong leadership needed for our business success. I also want to recognize and thank Thierry for his substantial contributions and enduring leadership at SNA." Hasegawa started his career in Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. in 1981 and has worked for the GOM region for the past 20 years. He was President of Nissan Motor Indonesia from 2001 to 2004, General Manager in charge for GOM Planning Department in 2005, and Managing Director of Nissan Middle East FZE from 2006 to 2008.
