Thai Airways International Public Company Limited announced on additional flights to and from Krabi and Khon Kaen to meet passengers’ demand during this upcoming New Year’s holidays during 27 December 2008 to 4 January 2009.
ACM Narongsak Sangapong, THAI’s Executive Vice President, Corporate Secretariat and THAI’s acting President stated that passengers’ travel demand during the New Year’s holidays have increased after the announcement of additional flights and the change to larger aircraft on flights to and from Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Phuket and Krabi. Therefore, THAI will increase additional 8 flights to better serve passenger travel demands, with details as follows:
Bangkok — Krabi v.v.:
Increase of 1 more flight per day during 27-31 December 2008 with total of 5 flights.
Bangkok — Khon Kaen v.v.:
Increase of 1 more flight per day on 31 December 2008 and 3-4 January 2009 with total of 3 flights.
The total of the increase of extra flights during New Year’s holidays is 38 flights with 5 main domestic routes as follows:
Roundtrip Bangkok — Chiang Mai, additional 12 flights
Roundtrip Bangkok — Chiang Rai, additional 2 flights
Roundtrip Bangkok — Phuket, additional 12 flights
Roundtrip Bangkok — Krabi, additional 9 flights
Roundtrip Bangkok — Khon Kaen, additional 3 flights
