Bank of Ayudhya Public Company Limited has joined forces with Ayudhya Insurance Public Company Limited to launch “KRUNGSRI PA Prompt”, personal accident insurance contained in a box with protection covering all types of accidents at THB 299 only. No application is required. Coverage is as high as THB 400,000 per annum. The product will be offered starting from 15 January 2009 onwards at all BAY branches across the nation.
Mr. Roy Gunara, Head of Consumer Banking, Bank of Ayudhya Public Company Limited, said that KRUNGSRI PA Prompt is a new innovation in personal accident insurance that the Bank is offering to reflect its “Innovations…make life easy” marketing concept. Customers who seek personal safety and protection will enjoy this product for its coverage, convenience, and easy accessibility. By simply showing an ID card and paying the premium, the purchaser will be instantly insured.
Mr. Roy added that KRUNGSRI PA Prompt will offer customers a new, more tangible experience in purchasing an insurance product as it is contained in a box. Customers can buy and pay the premium instantly just like for other goods. With a set price, THB 299 per box, KRUNGSRI PA Prompt is very suitable for the current economic situation. The protection period is one year starting from the day the premium payment is made. Coverage includes death and total permanent disability from accidents, murder, and terrorism.

Applicants for KRUNGSRI PA Prompt must be from 1 month to 65 years of age, of Thai nationality, and with good medical records. They must not be disabled, chronic patients, or injured on the day of applying. The policyholder will be entitled to receive following coverage in the case of death or total permanent disability.
THB400,000 if the accident occurs while taking public transportation or being in public building,
THB200,000 for normal death
THB100, 000 in the case of death or total disability caused by murder, assault, terrorism, or from an accident due to riding a motorcycle.
During this promotional period, the first 30,000 policyholders will receive a stuffed teddy bear toy value THB 95.
