Happy celebrates the Chinese New Year with the new and auspicious SIM cards called “SIM Jia Yoo Ee SIM Nee Na Chai” featuring the auspicious number 9 which, Thai people believe, will bring about happiness, good luck and prosperity. All phone numbers of these SIM cards include the auspicious number 9, and charge the low rate of only 99 satang per minute for all outgoing calls to any networks around the clock. Every refill through every channel gives an extra service duration of 99 days and only 99,999 pieces of the special SIM cards are available in the market. In the meantime, “Ang Pao” refill cards bearing messages of Chinese New Year wishes are also issued with the price tag of 99 baht. The cards can be offered to special ones as “Ang Pao” or monetary gifts on the Chinese New Year occasion.

In addition, customers of ‘SIM Jia Yoo Ee SIM Nee Na Chai’ SIM cards can also transfer call credits to their loved ones via ‘Happy Balance Transfer’ service at the time of activation, while normal happy subscribers are subject to usage period or usage charge conditions.
