Bangkok--25 Feb--Aziam Burson-Marsteller Honda LPGA Thailand Siam Country Club, Plantation Course Pattaya City, Chonburi, Thailand Feb. 25, 2009 Pre-tournament interviews DANA GROSS-RHODE: Thank you all for joining us. We have Stacy Prammanasudh with us. Stacy, with your Thai heritage you must enjoy coming to Thailand at the last HONDA LPGA Thailand, you did very well. You mentioned what a pleasure it was to come back to Thailand and play this new course. Stacy: You know I love coming back. It’s a great country, great food, and great people. So, it is always good to get back. Obviously, it is a new course this year. It is going to be warm and a little bit breezier out here. Q: Given the humidity here in Thailand, you played here before and they went back to the States. How are you adjusting to the heat and the time zone? Stacy: Last week, I played at the Thailand Ladies Golf Masters. I got a couple more days to get used to it. I will take it slow out there. I will have to drink lots of water. It’s going to be hot and it will be hot for everybody. Q: How do you prepare yourself for this tournament? What kind of practice, anything new or any changes in the swing or techniques? Do you feel any pressure? Stacy: There is a little bit of pressure because I do have a Thai background and heritage. So, fans are supporting me which I really love. Now, I am determined to practice hard. The greens is different. There is a lot of putting. So, I just try to do practice as much as I can. Q: What do you think are the major differences between old course and this new plantation course? Stacy: The greens here are a little bit smaller. They are smaller here and fairways are wider but the old course has more trees, is more shaded. Q: looking at the new course this year, what do you think it takes to do well in this new course? Stacy: You have to place your ball in the best possible position on the greens. They are smaller but not quite receptive. They are pretty firm. Q: How often do you visit Thailand? Where is your home right now? Stacy: I live in Oklahoma right now in the United States. I have been to Thailand every year for the past 5 years. Q: Is there particular place or province that you would like to visit in Thailand? Stacy: We just stay in Bangkok every time I come. Last year I went to Samui which was very nice. Q: Your family will come again this year? Stacy: My cousins are going to come on Saturday with a couple of my friends. Q: Can you talk about being the member of LPGA for a few years, how you have seen it evolved? This is obviously a very strong field out there? Stacy: It is nice. LPGA is definitely growing bigger and better every year. Competition is much stronger. There is lot of international players and it is good to see more high quality amateur players.
