BLACK LABEL
A leap into the roaring twenties with puffs of chiffon and lace worked into ribbons and scallops. The print, inspired by the film Metropolis, animates deco atmospheres and expressionist influences. The mood is that of the Great Gatsby style parties, joyfully scandalous amidst prohibition. The Chantilly lace boasts an original pattern with scallops and ribbons, inspired by original design from 1929. Stunning seductive feel with Design Couture, two bands of black satin meet in the centre of a precious strip of lace for a new, intriguing concept of bra. Two bands of satin covered in lace and folded back on themselves create a mysterious 3D effect of shadows and volumes: these are the centrepiece of an innovative bustier in tulle crossed by satin boning.
GLAMOUR
For a ‘pretty sweet’ femininity, a symphony of pastel colours, a fresh and pleasant mood like in a Doris Day film. Romantic details that tip a wink to the 50s such as the love-knots outlined in lace or the watercolour flower print on chiffon. The love knot gives the lace an exceptional character, highlighted by the different thread of the embroidery that gives a delicate embossed effect, for a romantic style with no hesitations. In addition, the Summer Bouquet with watercolour effect flowers for the print on stretch silk georgette with matching trimming in cotton Chantilly lace.
SALON D’ESSAYAGE
The new LA PERLA collection has been inspired by the tailoring and sentimental exclusivity of the Salons d’Essayages, the highly private fitting rooms of Haute Couture. An esprit d’atelier projected in the present and recreated by magical handicraft work and precious fabrics. Lace designed by a shower of fragile leaves, lightweight embroidery that appears to be chiselled on the body, impalpable voile fabrics. And yet more “atelier” details that declare the preciousness of being “hand made”: spectacular pleat effects, tulle strips set in lace, macram? medallions threaded with satin ribbons, visible stitching that reinvent bra styling. The chromatic range is highly perfected and unusual, dominated by the aristocratic notes of peacock blue.
