PROTON Holdings Berhad today unveiled an improved and sportier Satria Neo hatchback at the Thailand International Motor Show in Bangna, Bangkok. The Satria Neo CPS is fitted with a Campro CPS (Cam Profile Switching) engine, which promises enhanced performance. This new variant is now powered by a Campro CPS DOHC 16V engine which packs more power and offers better responsiveness for drivers desiring performance.
The first version of Satria Neo was introduced in Thailand in 2007 together with two other models, the Savvy and Gen.2. Since its introduction, the car has gained a significant following among car enthusiasts in Thailand especially with the participation of the model in the Asian Touring Car Championship held last year. The championship was won by the PROTON Axle Racing Team.
“The Satria Neo is known as performance-driven car. What we have done is to enhance the Neo by making it more powerful, responsive and attractive by giving it an improved engine and a sportier look," said PROTON Holdings Berhad Managing Director, Dato’ Syed Zainal Abidin Syed Mohamed Tahir.

The Satria Neo CPS is available in two colors, solid white and tranquility black (metallic) and is offered in two variants:
