Thai Airways International Public Company Limited announced the time schedule for moving ground equipment from Don Mueang Airport to Suvarnabhumi Airport on Saturday, 28 March 2009.
M.L. Ajcharaporn Na Songkhla, THAI’s Director of Corporate Communications said that THAI is fully prepared to move its domestic flights from Don Mueang Airport to Suvarnabhumi Airport. Ground service equipment will be moved on the roads routed Vibhavadi Rangsit — Chaeng Wattana — Ram Indra — Outer Ring — Motor Way — Suvarnabhumi on Saturday, 28 March, 2009. THAI will move the equipment according to the time schedule as follows:
14.00 hrs. A total 20 units of transportable aircraft tractors from Ground Support Equipment Services Department, such as air starter unit, ground power unit, air condition unit
22.00 hrs. A total 12 units of transportable aircraft tractors, such as passenger step, microbus and pickup
23.00 hrs. A total 13 units of transporters from THAI Catering Service, such as hi-loader, van and pickup
24.00 hrs. A total 11 units of transporters for moving office equipment and documentation
THAI would like to apologize for any inconvenience to drivers during the time when ground equipment will be moved on the roads on Saturday, 28 March 2009.
