Mahidol University, by the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities in collaboration with Faculty of Arts, Institute of Language and Culture for Rural Development, Institute for Population and Social Research, and Keio University of Japan organize the 1st Annual International Graduate Research Conference on Social Sciences and Humanities under the theme: “Harmony in Diversity” This conference will take place in April 2 — 3, 2009 at S.D. Avenue Hotel, Bangkok, Thailand.
This 1st Annual Conference is the first forum commenced by the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities. The aim of the conference is to bring together leading international academics and provide a forum for Master and Doctoral students to present and share research studies with an international and local researchers, professors in social science disciplines in order to improve mutual awareness, harmonize understanding and instigate coordinated activities to accelerate research, development of new research methods and tools for the social sciences and beyond.
The theme of this annual conference is Harmony in Diversity which has been the burning issue not only in Thai society but also a global challenge that urgently need to be cooling.
Keynote speakers at the conference are confirmed as:

? “Dynamic of Social Sciences and the Study on Diversity of Ethnicity” addressed by Prof. Dr. Anan Ganjanapan
